We sincerely appreciate Metro Mattress for the donation of 2 twin-size sets with frames we received.  Given the large number of requests they had, we are extremely honored to be selected again as a recipient from the 50 Beds in 50 Days initiative!  Their donation demonstrates the importance of giving 2 of our individuals a new bed.  Since we must rely on state funds for items like new mattresses and beds, it can often take an inordinate amount of time to obtain a new one.  However, we all know that sleeping well is a major component in maintaining a person’s physical and mental health.

In our Residential Program, we have 19 community-based homes that offer 114 individuals a loving, comfortable and safe environment so they can work, shop, play and volunteer to the best of their ability while leading full, productive and contributing lives.  We also assist 11 people in 6 supportive apartments with the same quality of care.

Certainly, Metro Mattress can ‘rest’ assured that they are making a difference in the lives of 2 of our individuals!
