Congratulations!

Crystal Walther-Kot, a Day Habilitation Assistant, will apply the $500 towards her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.  Crystal has been working diligently to finish the program at Empire State College.  Her goal is to further her career in the developmental disabilities field by becoming a Medicaid Service Coordinator.

Kaitlyn Lapham, a Residence Counselor at our Ruggles Road home, will apply the $500 towards the nursing program at SUNY Adirondack.  Kaitlyn has been working to finish the nursing program.

Amanda Hennessey, a Residential Habilitation Aide at our Loughberry Road home, applied the $500 towards the Ellis School of Nursing.  Amanda has been working to finish the nursing program as well.

Emily Burgess was one of our Service Coordinators.  She applied the $500 towards her MS degree in Public Administration at Marist College.

These scholarships are a wonderful opportunity for our staff to enhance their educational pursuits.  After reviewing many impressive applications from our ambitious and hardworking employees, the decisions were made to award the women above.  It is through their dedication to and for the individuals we support, that we continue honoring the memories of Mary Frawley, Michael Fitzgibbons, Mary Lawless and Donna Wright!  We are most appreciative of their families who graciously provide the means in which we can do so.
