Five women are living in our beautifully renovated residence on Geyser Road in Saratoga Springs, which opened in December 2007. They have grown fond of their new digs and have taken on the nickname “The Geyser Girls” in reference to the television show “The Gilmore Girls.” The ladies all come from living at home with their parents. They have adjusted quite well to their new living situation and gladly help out with the day-to-day operations of the house. The ladies take turns doing chores such as keeping the house clean, cooking, grocery shopping and planning recreation activities. In their free time, they enjoy everything found in Saratoga Springs like the bead store, coffee at Uncommon Grounds, movies, art galleries and shows at SPAC. They treasure being involved in various Special Olympics events and their creative and artistic abilities are evident.

All the ladies have been experiencing many new opportunities and have welcomed the chance to be a part of the community. Whether they are dancing at Tilley's in Glens Falls or vacationing together in Maine, their newfound friendships have allowed them to become a second family to each other.
