Pleasant Street is located in the village of Ballston Spa. The 2 story home is an apartment setting with two young ladies residing upstairs and three young gentlemen residing downstairs. The individuals are quite independent and very active in their community.

Two individuals work through the supportive employment, with one, who was nominated for the Outstanding Achievement Award, has been employed with Furniture Theater for several years. The other individual is a long term employee with Marshals at Clifton Park Center. They both love their jobs and look forward to continuing their employment.

Two individuals participate in the local Day Hab program and are very active in the community with involvement in the food pantry, meals on wheels and cleaning and helping local businesses.

One gentleman is a member of the Ballston Spa Business association and works at the local Farmers Market weekly from spring to fall selling fresh farm produce and homemade jellies and jams. He has done this for several years and looks forward to it annually. He also loves to look up recipes on his computer and cook up new and interesting meals for his house mates. The guys also enjoy baseball and trips to the flat track on Labor Day.

The ladies enjoy a variety of activities including, music lessons, cross stitch, celebrity news, cooking shopping, eating out and vacations at Camp.
