Pleasant Street is located in the village of Ballston Spa. The two story house incorporates an apartment setting for five individuals. They are all quite independent, participate in many activities throughout their community, love eating out and going on vacation. The guys enjoy baseball and trips to the Saratoga Racetrack while the ladies partake in music lessons, cross stitch, celebrity news, cooking and shopping.

One man and one woman have jobs that they love through Alpha Career Options, our supportive employment program. She was recently nominated for the Outstanding Achievement Award and has been working at the Furniture Theater for several years. He is a long-term employee at Marshals in the Clifton Park Center and has received many commendations. Two of the individuals spend their day at a Day Hab program and are involved in the Food Pantry, Meals on Wheels, cleaning and volunteering for local businesses. One gentleman is a member of the

Ballston Spa Business & Professional Association and loves selling fresh produce and homemade jellies and jams at the Farmers Market. He looks up recipes on his computer and then cooks new and interesting meals for his housemates.
