The Washington Street home is located in the heart of Saratoga Springs and was the first residence opened by Saratoga Bridges n August of 1984. The word “family” comes to mind when thinking about this group of ten individuals for many have lived together for over 40 years. They all truly care for each other and look out for one another’s best interest. Being so close to Broadway affords them the opportunity to experience the sights and sounds of downtown Saratoga Springs. They visit the local shops on a regular basis and the cashiers know them by name. Starbucks is a definite favorite. They frequent Congress Park to listen to music, enjoy art displays and strolling down the busy streets are favorite pastimes. Many afternoons and evenings are spent on the patio -- enjoying dining and drinking coffee outside while people watching. Some of the other activities they participate in include beading, knitting, karaoke, bingo, crafts and gardening.
