We have been asked to assist the New York State Developmental Disabilities Planning Council (NYS DDPC) with a survey they are conducting in attempt to reach individuals with disabilities, families, and staff members.  They are investigating barriers to independent living — that children and adults with developmental disabilities face – in all settings including, but not limited to the home, the community, at school, and places of employment.  Also, they are interested in learning more about potential solutions to these barriers, with a specific interest in identifying and prioritizing technological solutions.
