Our artists Tom, Amanda and TJ were tremendously successful when they attended Voice!12 Art Show’s opening reception on July 28th. Accompanied by their staff Katie Sprouse, Greg Cuda and Catherine Spaneas, they all had a wonderful evening. It was very exciting for Amanda who received the $200 Third Place Award for her piece “Ebb Tide”, for Tom who received the $50 Curators’ Award for his piece ‘Yeah Yellow’, which also was selected to be on all the advertising post cards and posters for the show, and for TJ who sold both his works at the event.

In its 12th year, Voice! is hosted by The Arc Otsego as a means of celebrating the creative voices of artists with intellectual and other developmental disabilities from across New York State. It is held at the Martin Mullen Art Gallery at SUNY Oneonta.
