Saratoga Bridges strives to raise awareness about the abilities, contributions and activities people with developmental disabilities are making throughout Saratoga County. By working collaboratively with our media partners, the agency seeks to communicate, educate, advocate, inform and receive feedback regarding the services we provide. Also, if you need an expert resource in the field of developmental disabilities, we have many staff members who can speak to your organization, school, business or group.
The care, services and programs we provide to each person must always remain our primary responsibility. Due to the fact that Saratoga Bridges is a health care provider, we are mandated to adhere to:
- We respect the rights of our individuals and staff to privacy and confidentiality and follow the guidelines regarding all aspects contained in the Health Insurance and Portability Act (HIPAA).
- Saratoga Bridges requires all representations of the media to coordinate interview and photography requests ahead of time by contacting our Communications Specialist. Upon receiving an inquiry, we will respond quickly to determine if and when an interview can be coordinated. We will accompany each media representative
- Photos, interviews and/or videos of our individuals can not be taken or utilized without obtaining written consent first by the individual or his/her advocate. Our Communications Specialist has the consent forms.
Saratoga Bridges welcomes the opportunity to work with our media outlets. If you would like more information or to schedule an interview, please call Pamela Polacsek, Communications Specialist, at 518-587-0723 ext. 1255 from Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm or email@example.com.
