Adirondack Trust Community Fund David Meager Pamela Polacsek Brian Erica Winnie PinnoArtists Erica and Brian, along with Art Coordinator Winnie Pino, attended a check presentation ceremony on December 15th as we were one of the organizations who received a Lend-A-Hand Grant from The Adirondack Trust Company Community Gift Program.

Based on the continued interests of our artists, we will incorporate “Printing for Purpose” into our repertoire.  The grant will support a local professional artist to teach printing classes as well as purchasing the necessary supplies and equipment including a professional ball press, professional garment print machine, quality paper, textiles, screens, emulsions and tools.

The second aspect of Printing for Purpose is to offer free workshops taught by our artists and facilitated by our staff members at Creative Endeavors Arts Center for people with and without disabilities.  Held in an integrated setting, it gives us a chance to give back to the community that has welcomed, embraced, supported and recognized their artistic achievements!  The culmination will be a Ballston Spa First Friday evening featuring the participants’ prints.
