EEO Policy Statement

It is the policy of Saratoga Bridges to adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations and executive orders that prohibit discrimination in employment practices based on age, race (including traits historically associated with race), creed, color, national origin, citizenship, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, status of being transgender, military or veteran status, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth and related conditions), disability, predisposing genetic characteristics, marital status, familial status, status as a victim of domestic violence, reproductive health decision-making, known relationship or association with any member of a protected class, and any other characteristic protected by applicable law.

This policy applies to all terms, conditions and privileges of employment including advertising, recruitment, hiring, orientation, training, placement, promotion, job assignment, job classification, transfer, compensation, benefits, training, work conditions, layoff, discharge and retirement.

In accordance with applicable federal and state law, Saratoga Bridges will attempt to reasonably accommodate qualified individuals with known disabilities and sincerely held religious beliefs and practices unless doing so would create an undue hardship.  Any applicant or employee seeking such an accommodation should contact the Human Resources Department and request an accommodation.

Saratoga Bridges will take affirmative action to ensure that this is implemented and will make it known to employment entities with which it deals, and in employment opportunity announcements, that the foregoing is the policy of the Saratoga Bridges, and all employment decisions are based on individual merit only.

Any employee, job applicant, intern or nonemployee performing services in the workplace pursuant to a contract who feels they have been subjected to or who have witnessed or otherwise become aware of discrimination by or of a coworker, a supervisor or manager, or a third party shall report such to the appropriate supervisor, manager, or the Human Resources Director immediately so that the matter can be resolved.  Saratoga Bridges will not permit retaliation of any kind against anyone who opposes a discriminatory practice, makes or encourages another individual to make a good faith complaint about harassment and/or discrimination, or furnishes information or participates in any manner in an investigation of such a complaint.  Anyone who feels they have been retaliated against or are aware of retaliations shall report such to the Human Resources Director.
