Our home on Pleasant Street in Ballston Spa is made up of two apartments. The guys live downstairs and the gals live upstairs. It is very important for us to be a part of the village as you will see us socializing at community events. By encouraging each other to do our best, we share chores, make group decisions, celebrate happy times and strive to be independent.  Most of all, we are proud of our successes and want you to know how we feel about our home:

Brenda, “I was thrilled to move into my apartment in March. I really like my roommate Amy who is just the best and get along great with the two guys. I have much more independence, am having a lot of fun and get to do more things that I want to do!”

Duncan, “I get to do a lot of things. I can make my own decisions and have lots of friends. I like to take walks around town and go to The Great Escape and Camp Wilton.

Amy, “I like living on Pleasant Street because I am close to a lot of places. I can walk to the park, ice skate in the winter and swing on the swings in the summer. It’s nice and quiet. I like living in Ballston Spa because I am not far from my Mom and Dad.

Patrick, “I like living here because it’s close to downtown and I can walk to shop in the stores or get a coffee. I like being able to make dinner, living with fewer people and having a quiet, peaceful home. It is great that my sister lives close so I can visit her. Also, I like being able to work at the Farmers Market.”
