Eight artists from Creative Endeavors Arts Center were selected to submit their work to the 15h Annual New York Association of Community and Residential Agencies (NYSACRA) Juried Art Exhibit which took place at The Sagamore Resort on Thursday, April 16th.

The artists, Ben E., Brian B., Donna G., Erica M., Jessie B., Joey G., Shannon M. and Vicki S., displayed their work at the art show which was part of NYSACRA’s annual conference.

Erica Morocco (above) received an honorable mention for her acrylic painting “Twilight Ocean”. Erica has been taking art classes at Creative Endeavors Arts Center for many years. She has interest in collage, textiles, beading and other craft media, and recently has become very focused on painting. Erica enjoys trying new media and approaches. She recently took a college level stained glass class at Capital Region Arts Center in Troy. Erica was honored for her hard work and dedication to her art with the 2013 Rose Miranda Scholarship. She has won awards for her artwork at the “Through My Eyes” art show and has had her work included in other juried shows.
